Senior Delivery Manager Permanent / Full-Time London View position

Role overview: As we take on larger and more complex projects, from critical customer builds through to full data and network fit‑outs inside major office refurbishments, we need a Senior Delivery Manager who can own delivery end‑to‑end on the work that matters most. This isn't a role for someone who wants a steady stream of standard orders. It's the person we hand the difficult stuff to. Multi‑tenant buildings with awkward access. Big projects where Vorboss is subcontracting to a main contractor on a live construction programme, and our delivery has to be interleaved with trades who don't care about fibre. Your job is to take these projects from commitment to live connection without anyone losing sleep over them. You'll be the senior face of Vorboss in front of customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors on your projects, so the role is as much about representing us well as it is about delivery mechanics. You'll report into the Director of Connectivity Operations and work closely with Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, and our commercial teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivery of complex orders
• Own the delivery of Vorboss's most complex customer orders: orders involving equipment hire, tall‑building installations, tricky multi‑tenant environments, or anything where normal service delivery needs a dedicated hand.
• Build and maintain delivery plans that reflect what contractors, splicing teams, and site access allow, not theoretical timelines.
• Act as the single point of accountability for these orders through to handover.
• Ensure systems of record are kept up to date and data integrity surrounding these builds is accurate.
• Lead Vorboss's delivery when we're subcontracting to a main contractor on a major office refurbishment or fit‑out, covering data cabling, network delivery, and everything we install inside a live construction programme.
• Work to the main contractor's programme, attend site progress meetings, produce RAMS, and keep Vorboss's works on track alongside the other trades.
• Own day‑to‑day delivery risk and escalate construction compliance matters (CDM 2015, principal contractor coordination, permits, etc.) with support from SHEQ and Build leadership.
• Be the lead face of Vorboss to customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors on your projects.
• Translate between what the construction and telecoms worlds each expect, and keep all sides informed.
• Run project meetings, produce clear reporting, and make sure decisions are captured and acted on.

Cross‑functional coordination

• Work with Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, Logistics, and commercial teams to pull together everything a project needs.
• Incorporate and integrate these projects into Vorboss delivery forecasts, ensuring a strong command across all of delivery of exactly when these services will be made live.
• Manage equipment hire, access bookings, and contractor allocation so nothing derails the plan.

The right candidate:

• Significant project or programme management experience delivering complex technical infrastructure work.
• Comfortable with fibre and telecoms delivery concepts, whether from a supplier background or as a customer who has commissioned fibre and network projects and understands the stages, the dependencies, and what good looks like.
• Experience managing delivery alongside construction programmes, main contractors, or fit‑out projects.
• Confident running meetings with senior customers, landlords, building managers, and contractors.
• Strong planning and prioritisation.
• Clear, concise written communication.
• Direct experience on the Openreach network or with UK telecoms build.
• CDM 2015 awareness; SMSTS or CSCS.
• Experience working across a mix of small, discrete orders and large multi‑month programmes.
