Role overview: We are looking for a Data Architect to define and evolve the enterprise data architecture at Vorboss. You will design scalable, secure, and high-performance data structures that support our rapidly growing fibre network business. Working closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams, you’ll modernise legacy telecom data models, establish strong governance and modelling standards, and guide the architecture of our next-generation data platform. This is a hands‑on strategic role shaping how data is structured, governed, and used across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Reverse‑engineer legacy telecom data structures and reduce data silos
- Establish canonical data models and Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks
- Implement data governance, metadata management, and data lineage
- Provide architectural leadership across data engineering and analytics initiatives
- Evaluate and introduce modern data platforms and tools
- Mentor teams on data architecture best practices
The right candidate:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Enterprise Architect
- Strong expertise in:
- Canonical data models
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data lineage and impact analysis
- Metadata management
