You will be joining the Midcore team from Live Studios. Our main mission is converting hypercasual titles into deep midcore games; we are currently working on Epic Plane Evolution, Archery Clash & Gear Fight. The studio is also working on Ball Blast and Sniper Siege.
Role We are seeking an experienced Game Designer specializing in game balance and systems tuning, who is deeply passionate about mobile games and wants to create the next big hit. With extensive experience in the industry, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering fun to millions of players. As the driving force behind the game's success, you'll ensure the game reaches the highest standards of quality and innovation.
You Will:
- Architect systems for long-term retention and monetization, integrating LiveOps strategies and sustainable economy systems natively into the game design
- Design, simulate, and balance complex in-game economies, building spreadsheet models to forecast player progression
- Pitch and implement big features to the team, deconstructing them into smaller components
- Own game balancing, pace, feel on different titles
- Be able to deconstruct and analyze mobile games mechanics
- Always back up your ideas with available data points
Profile:
- At least 5+ years as a Game Designer
- Experience working on mobile games and F2P
- Accountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over your work
- Good sense of gameplay experience, and special attention to details
- Communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Passionate to learn new ways to perform your tasks in a more efficient way, and to improve yourself every day
- Expert in spreadsheet or similar tools
- Actively integrates AI tools into daily workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency
