You focus on core gameplay improvements to enhance fun, pacing, and player satisfaction, while tracking key metrics like retention and monetization. You work hands-on across design, tech, art, and product decisions to elevate the game and processes. Responsibilities
- Build and lead a small cross-disciplinary team (around 4 people)
- Set and track clear goals to ensure delivery
- Inspire, motivate, and develop team members
- Improve core gameplay, game feel, pacing, and player satisfaction
- Identify what makes the game fun now and what could be improved
- Monitor and optimize key metrics: retention, playtime, engagement, monetization
- Contribute across game development: design, level design, UI/UX, tech, art, product decisions
- Improve internal game creation and iteration processes
- Manage team performance and maintain high talent standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on direction
Key requirements
- 4 to 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry
- Mobile F2P market experience (design preferred)
- Passion for mobile games; strong understanding of core gameplay and player experience
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Strong leadership potential or prior team leadership experience
- Data-driven decision-making
- Ability to move fast, test ideas, and iterate quickly
- Strong English communication and ability to align different crafts around a clear direction
