You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Hole.io.
Role
We are looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to elevate the user interface of Hole.io. In this role, you will:
Define and implement a complete UI vision in close collaboration with the Art Director, ensuring a consistent and polished visual style.
Combine strong 2D art skills with hands-on Unity experience, designing UI elements in Figma and integrating and animating them in-engine.
Build and maintain scalable design systems, including the UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries.
Design high-quality 2D assets for menus, HUDs, buttons, icons, and other UI elements.
Ensure all UI designs enhance gameplay clarity, accessibility, and player satisfaction.
Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and analyze player feedback to guide iterative improvements.
Collaborate with Game Designers and Developers to align UI with gameplay goals and ensure technical feasibility, including mobile performance.
Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data to continuously improve the user experience.
Profile
Proven experience as a Senior or Lead UI/UX Designer on shipped mobile games.
Strong proficiency in Figma with experience building and maintaining component libraries.
Strong Unity skills, with the ability to implement and troubleshoot UI setups directly in engine.
Excellent 2D design and rendering skills, with a keen eye for visual hierarchy, composition, and readability.
Expertise in player-centric design, with demonstrated experience in conducting usability testing, AB testing and analyzing player feedback to inform design decisions.
Demonstrated ability to build and follow a consistent UI visual language.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams.
Fluent in English.
