This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Veterinary Nurse located in Surbiton. The Registered Veterinary Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to inpatients, assisting with anaesthetic procedures, maintaining patient records, and supporting veterinary surgeons in medical and surgical procedures. They will also oversee the maintenance of clinical equipment, ensure the cleanliness of the facility, and assist with pet care.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Veterinary Nursing and Animal Care
- Experience with Anaesthesiology and related procedures
- Familiarity with Pet care
- Competency in Laboratory Skills and equipment maintenance
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification and professional registration
- Experience working in a clinical or hospital-based environment is an advantage
This job role will be twelve hour shifts with a mixture of day and night shifts, and some bank holidays. We are also open to Student Veterinary Nurses who are soon to be completing their studies and are interested in working in a busy hospital environment. Candidates without nursing experience may also apply for a Veterinary Care Technician role.
