Hours: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day Mon-Fri)

Feeding Families is seeking a Volunteer and Partner Co-ordinator to join our small but enthusiastic team in delivering a five star service to our volunteers and the partners who receive our food support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills to help us grow relationships inside and outside the organisation to drive support and impact.
Objectives
- To effectively support the Operations and Engagement Teams in delivering communications and support internally and externally.
- To support the volunteering experience with individuals and corporates, to maximise the impact of their contributions.
- To liaise with our charity partners to nurture connections and ensure we provide the correct support to them.
- To support the warehouse operations where necessary.
Main Responsibilities
Volunteers
- To be the main point of contact for volunteers attending the packing centre.
- To welcome new volunteers and assist with inductions.
- To liaise with corporate clients about volunteering opportunities and schedule attendance.
- To offer guidance and support to volunteers with additional needs to be able to participate in packing sessions.
- To manage our Volunteero app, which schedules shifts for volunteers.
- To listen to and act on any volunteer feedback to improve their experience.
- To organise occasional thank you events or volunteer drives.
Warehouse
- To understand the organisation of the warehouse and support volunteers to work there.
- To run occasional packing sessions as support to the Operations Team.
Partners
- To be the main contact for our partners (charities, schools and organisations) who are requesting food.
- To assess applications as to suitability and levels of support requested.
- To pass applications on for approval and registration.
- To answer queries from partners and liaise with warehouse staff re availability, deliveries etc.
- To build relationships with partners to understand their needs and direct them to the most appropriate provision.
- To invite partners on site to understand what we do as part of their onboarding process.
- To do occasional site visits to better understand the organisations we work with.
