FISCUS, a local advice and crisis support charity, is seeking an experienced and motivated Community Building & Facilities Coordinator to join our expanding team in Sunderland. The role is key in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fully operational premises for staff, volunteers, visitors and service users.

Responsibilities

  • Reception and front of house duties in a busy office & community building
  • Coordinating building maintenance and repairs
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Supporting room bookings and community activities
  • Office Administration and facilities support
  • Assisting with health & safety compliance
  • Helping create a positive and welcoming environment for local people accessing support, staff, volunteers and tenants

Qualifications

  • Organised, reliable and proactive
  • Experience in administration, reception, facilities or building coordination
