Aim Of The Post
This exciting post will both support existing youth voice projects and play a pivotal role in developing new initiatives across the region. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with Young People and supporting them to have their voices heard on key issues that matter to them.
Job Description
- Support and deliver Youth Voice work in line with the aims and objectives of the North East Youth Alliance (NEYA).
- Support the planning of a range of different high-quality work with young people, specifically around the voice of young people.
- Support the delivery of high-quality face to face work with young people using a range of fun and educational engagement methods.
- Encouraging and supporting young people to take on active roles within their neighbourhoods and beyond with support from colleagues.
- Supporting the implementation of a range of informal research and consultation methods to highlight the actual experiences and/or needs of young people.
- To build dynamic partnerships across organisations and networks who are responsive to the emerging needs of young people.
- To advocate and amplify the diverse voices and needs of young people, influencing policy, resourcing and delivery. These objectives are underpinned by the following values:

- Promote the work of the organisation and NEYA with other professionals and members of the public, as and when appropriate.
- Carry out duties in line with the organisation’s Policies, Procedures and Code of Conduct.
- Any other reasonable duties as identified by the Chief Executive and appropriate to the level and grading of the post.
