Role Description:
- Lead by empowering volunteers to develop skills and ownership of the community garden.
- Develop ambitious and achievable strategic gardening plans that are operational, seasonal, and focused on environmental sustainability.
- Assist in running horticulture-based activities including gardening, bee‑keeping, cooking, crafts, and construction.
- Help volunteers learn and acquire new skills, and facilitate their integration into the local community.
- Participate in organisational decisions and contribute to effective management of the garden.
Qualifications:
- Professional horticulturalist or equivalent experience.
- Experience in volunteer management and community garden leadership.
- Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
