Role description: Officer
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our charity in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK\’s leading charities, committed to being non-judgmental and impartial.
The ideal candidate will promote the aims and policies of Citizens Advice and will play a vital role in maintaining the charity\’s financial health.
Responsibilities include preparing monthly accounts, budgets, handling financial duties, and supporting bid and grant proposals. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required.
You will support writing tenders and proposals, and secure funding from private and statutory sources to build a multi-year funding base.
Requirements
- Accounting/Finance experience (1-2 years)
- Fundraising experience (desirable)
- Bid Writing experience (desirable)
