Role description: Officer

This is not just a job – it’s an opportunity to be a vital part of someone’s journey from financial distress to stability, hope, and freedom. Our Money Advice Team is ambitious, hardworking, and deeply committed. We place client wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and are proud of our reputation for delivering high-quality advice that transforms lives.

As a fully accredited Debt Advisor, you’ll be doing more than giving advice – you’ll be offering people a lifeline. You’ll lift the burden of unmanageable debt, help clients see a way forward, and stand alongside them as they regain control. You’ll advocate on their behalf with creditors, removing the fear and anxiety that financial challenges bring. You’ll assess each client’s situation with care and insight, identifying the best strategies and options to resolve their debts. Just as importantly, you’ll provide practical budgeting support and income maximisation advice to build long-term financial resilience.

This is also a regulated role, and you’ll be expected to follow clear procedures in line with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Code of Conduct. This ensures that every piece of advice you give is not only high quality and ethical, but also fully compliant and process-driven – providing clients with consistent, trustworthy support they can rely on. This role is about impact – real, meaningful, measurable impact on people’s lives. You’ll see the difference you make in reduced stress, renewed confidence, and financial stability.

What You’ll Need:

  • A deep sense of empathy and compassion
  • Strong numeracy and writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate clearly and manage your time effectively
  • Experience in debt and money advice
  • Above all, the drive to make a difference in people’s lives

We will provide you with extensive training and development, helping you grow in confidence and capability as you deliver first-class advice that really matters.

Closing Date: Friday 10th July at 4.30pm

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
