Senior Project Support

Easington Lane Community Access Point (ELCAP) is a Community Anchor Hub that offers activities, events and services from its two buildings and fleet of mini-buses. The Digital Inclusion Lead will design, deliver, and embed a comprehensive digital inclusion programme aimed at reducing digital exclusion across Hetton Ward. The postholder will provide tailored digital skills support to residents, coordinate partnerships, develop a volunteer "Digital Buddy" network, and ensure the programme meets its key performance indicators (KPIs) and long-term impact goals. The role will focus on building confidence, skills, and access to digital tools, enabling residents to engage with essential online services, education, employment opportunities, and social connections.
