We are now looking for an Assistant Buyer to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 38.75 hours per week.

The Role
As the Assistant Buyer, you will support the Buying team in driving the performance of our Home, Garden and DIY product ranges. Working across a wide portfolio of home and lifestyle products, you will provide day-to-day buying support, assisting with product administration and market analysis. You'll be able to learn about Far East supplier management and a wide range of processes to support your growth and professional development.
About You
To be considered as the Assistant Buyer, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently
