Why This Role Matters
Our Sales Enablement team provides the foundation for sales excellence. In the role of Sales Trainer II, you will be the go-to person on our sales tools and internal processes, ensuring our entire sales force knows exactly how to use our stack to win. You will create and facilitate high-impact training that translates technical software into tactical sales wins, empowering our team to move faster and operate with more precision than ever before.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for the sales tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, 6Sense, Highspot).
- Deliver training that ensures sellers are not just proficient in the tools, but are using them to drive better sales outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions on our internal sales lifecycle, from lead management to deal closure.
- Ensure all sellers understand our "Rules of Engagement" and maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Facilitate the technical and process-oriented segments of the Sales Onboarding program.
- Partner with the Onboarding Lead to ensure new hires are successfully ramped on our specific workflows and tools.
- Develop and update practical learning assets, including eLearnings, "how-to" videos, system workflow guides, and process checklists that simplify complex tasks for the sales team.
- Lead live workshops and virtual webinars for both new hires and tenured reps, focusing on "learning by doing" through interactive screen-sharing and role‑play exercises.
- Work closely with Sales Operations to document new system updates or workflow changes, translating technical backend updates into clear, actionable training for the front‑line.
- Monitor tool usage and process compliance data to identify teams or individuals who may need additional "refresher" training or targeted coaching.
- Regularly audit the training library to ensure all system screenshots, messaging scripts, and process flows are accurate and reflect the current state of the business.
Required What you’ll bring:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales training & enablement.
- Strong Facilitation Skills: A confident and clear presenter who can break down technical or process‑heavy topics into simple, actionable steps for a diverse audience.
- Sales Process Fluency: A solid understanding of the B2B sales cycle (prospecting, discovery, and pipeline management) and why following a unified process is critical to team success.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: High proficiency in Salesforce and Sales Engagement Platforms (e.g., Gong, 6Sense, Highspot, Linkedin Sales Navigator). You are comfortable being the "power user" who helps others navigate the tools.
- Instructional Design Basics: Experience creating clean, professional training materials, slide decks, and screen‑recorded tutorials. Previous experience using Articulate or similar authoring tools is a must.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with Sales Ops, Product Marketing, and Sales Managers to ensure training content is technically accurate and field‑relevant.
- Detail‑Oriented: A passion for accuracy and a "get it right" mindset when it comes to documenting internal processes and system workflows.
Experience We Consider a Plus
- Previous experience as a Seller, SDR or within Sales Ops.
- Background in the formal sales methodology MEDDPICC.
