Why this role matters
We're looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to join our UK&I API sales team. You'll own a portfolio of existing accounts, building deep relationships and identifying opportunities to expand Vonage's CPaaS footprint from Communications and Messaging APIs to Network Powered Solutions such as silent authentication and anti-fraud APIs. This is a growth role. You'll inherit a warm book of business and be expected to retain, expand, and delight customers while consistently exceeding revenue targets. Please note that this is a hybrid role, and we would require you to visit our office once per week.
Your key responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise accounts across the UK&I, driving net revenue retention and expansion ARR
- Build strong, multi-threaded relationships with technical, commercial, and C-level stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business objectives and map Vonage's CPaaS solutions, including SMS, RCS, WhatsApp Messaging, Voice, Video, Verify, and network powered solutions to their needs
- Lead commercial conversations including renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and contract negotiations
- Work closely with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, adoption, and value realisation
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce, and provide regular reporting to leadership
- Represent Vonage at customer meetings, industry events, and roundtables across the UK&I
What you'll bring
- 3+ years of B2B CPaaS, ideally in an account management or client growth role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue retention and expansion targets within a mid-market and enterprise segments
- Ability to sell to both technical (developer, architect) and business (CX, Operations, Marketing) stakeholders
- Familiarity with cloud communications, APIs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Experience with outreach tools such as ZoomInfo
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-moving, matrix organization
