The predicted salary is between 32000 - 42000 £ per year.

Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE) with bonus of up to 10% max.

Shifts: 6:00‑14:30 and 9:30‑18:00 Monday‑Friday; 1 Saturday in 4 paid at time and a half.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV licence)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns
  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment and tools clean, tidy and well‑maintained
  • Help support the development of trainees and apprentices

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs, or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
