Overview
Technician Supervisor – Peterborough role at Volvo Trucks. Salary up to £21 per hour dependent upon experience and skill set. £1,000 signing bonus (direct applicants only payable after 6 months). Overtime at time and a half (double time Sundays and bank holidays). £120 per week call out applicable when on standby. Rotating shift pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00 or 15:00 to 23:00; alternate Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00 at overtime rate.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians on the shop floor to maintain morale and ensure work is completed on time with high quality.
- Ensure customer expectations are managed through all stages of the Genuine Volvo Service process.
- Maximise shift performance through effective problem solving, coaching and development.
- Communicate effectively with the Day Shift Supervisor, CSRs and Parts department to ensure technicians have valid job specifications and time budgets before work begins.
Who are you?
- Do you have previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in HGV maintenance?
- Are you able to manage and motivate a team of technicians in their daily duties?
- Can you coach and provide support and guidance to your team of technicians.
- Are you able to effectively communicate at all levels both written and verbally
- You have the ability to prioritise tasks, manage workflow and meet deadlines in a busy workshop
- You have a basic knowledge of Microsoft and IT skills
