£1,000 Joining Bonus (Direct applicants only payable after 6 months)
Working Week: 39 hours basic week + overtime available at time and a half.
Covering a rotating shift:
- Week 1: 08:00 – 16:30
- Week 2: 09:00 – 17:30
- Week 3: 13:00 – 21:30

What You’ll Do
As an HGV technician, you will be joining our Service & Workshop team at our Volvo Truck and Bus Centre. You will ensure repairs are carried out according to Volvo standards. We are at the forefront of electromobility, so you will also work on systems including LNG, hybrid and full electric vehicles.
Qualifications
You should hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience on HGVs, or have completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry. You’ll be expected to be technically and practically competent in repair and maintenance, and able to communicate effectively at all levels, in writing and verbally. You should be flexible to adapt to new processes and participate in training and development activities. We expect you to be an active member of our team and able to contribute to new or improved working processes.
