Shift Pattern: on rotational basis
- Week 1: Monday - Wednesday 0700 - 1900 | Thursday 0700 - 1300
- Week 2: Wednesday - Friday 0700 - 1900 | Saturday 0700-1300
Who are you?
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
What Will You Be Doing
The Role β some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
