The predicted salary is between 13 - 17 £ per hour.
Salary: £17.50 per hour + OVERTIME + BONUS + PLUS £1000 SIGNING ON BONUS (£500 after 6 months + £500 after completion of 1 year service).
Shift Pattern:
- Dayshift Hours: Mon - Fri
- Mon – Thurs: 6am – 2.30pm
- Friday: 6am – 1.30pm
- Backshift Hours: Mon – Friday
- Mon – Thurs: 2pm -10.30pm
- Friday: 1pm -8.30pm
- Saturday Shift is on a Rota 7am – Noon (1 shift every 4 weeks)

You Will Have:
- A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry
What You'll Do:
- Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks.
- Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.
