The predicted salary is between 36180 - 44220 £ per year.

Shift Pattern: Mon – Thu 6am‑2.30pm, Mon – Thu 2pm‑10.30pm, Fri 6am‑1.30pm/1pm‑8.30pm, Sat 7am‑Noon on rota, 1 shift every 4 weeks.

Qualifications:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGVs or completion of an apprenticeship in HGV industry
- HGV licence (required for road testing)
What you’ll do:
- Carry out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks
- Fault find and repair engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc. to high standards according to Volvo procedures
- Assist in fault diagnosis and road test vehicles when required
- Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets; process relevant paperwork accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Maintain workshop facilities, equipment and tools tidy and well‑maintained
- Assist with roadside breakdowns
- Support trainees and apprentices development
