In the UK, our Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) team plays a vital role in that mission, ensuring we remain financially strong and compliant. You will be supporting Renault Trucks Commercials.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely period end accounting
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation for monthly review and sign off
- Investigate and resolve balance sheet discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully understood and closed out
- Contribute to improvements in reporting, reconciliation and control processes
- Prepare financial analysis to explain variances against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers
- Support and contribute to a strong financial control environment, working collaboratively within the FCA team to improve reporting and processes
Qualifications:
- AAT qualification
- Strong Excel skills — including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Strong background in reconciliations and financial reporting
- Knowledge of VAT and corporate tax legislation
- SAP system proficiency
- A methodical mindset, with attention to detail and a drive to resolve issues effectively
