Volvo Truck and Bus Ipswich are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver / Van Driver to join our team. This is a varied split role where you'll use your HGV Class 1 licence every day, transporting Volvo trucks between our dealership and customers. When not moving HGVs, you'll support the business with van deliveries and collections of parts, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage.
What you will do:
- Deliver and collect parts to and from customers, suppliers, and other Volvo sites.
- Support the parts department with stock control, goods in/out, and warehouse organisation.
- Assist customers and colleagues with parts enquiries in person and over the phone.
- Maintain delivery paperwork, vehicle condition, and ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction.
Who are you?
- HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in a parts or delivery role is an advantage.
