Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles and heavy trucks.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA compliance.
  • Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately record work carried out using digital workshop systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to Volvo quality standards.
  • Support workshop efficiency by working collaboratively with service and parts teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles and/or HGVs.
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / SVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair).
