Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

Who are you?
Qualified HGV Technician holds NVQ! Level 3 in HGV - apprenticeship or City & Guilds, with proven hands-on workshop experience. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and coach others. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Organised and proactive approach, with a strong focus on customer service. Flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well-maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
