The predicted salary is between 40000 - 56000 £ per year.
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry? As part of our team at Volvo, you will work a 39 hour per week on our rotational nightshift, up to £20 per hour with overtime and quarterly bonus and fantastic earning potential.
What you will do:
- Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks.
- Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.
