£1,000 signing bonus payable after 6 months service! Salary up to £42k + overtime! Working a rotating shift with an early finish Fridays!
Dayshift: Mon-Thur: 07.00 - 15.15, Friday: 07.00 - 13.30
Backshift: Mon-Thurs: 13.00 - 21.15, Friday: 12.30 - 19.00
Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for your next move? Join our team in Glasgow East and work with one of the world’s top commercial vehicle brands.
What you will do:
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
