Overview
As a Financial Accountant, you\βll be at the heart of FCA in the UK, reporting directly to our Chief Accountant. Your role will centre on accurate period-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IAS, and Volvo\βs internal financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely period-end reporting for Volvo Group UK Limited, including Renault Trucks UK reporting and revenue recognition.
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and resolve issues before monthly reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, and controls.
- Use Excel daily for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.
- Work closely with your manager and colleagues on ad hoc tasks that make a real impact across the business.
Qualifications
- Strong Excel skills β including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
