Responsibilities
- Supervise shift technicians and coordinate workload
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPIs, etc.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles
- Service vehicles to a high standard
- Participate in call‑out and breakdown rota when required
- Use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any required rectifications
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately
Qualifications
- C&G or NVQ3 HGV Technician qualification
- Electrical and mechanical skills and experience
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean driving licence – HGV would be an advantage
