Responsibilities

  • Supervise shift technicians and coordinate workload
  • Liaise with the Workshop Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPIs, etc.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles
  • Service vehicles to a high standard
  • Participate in call‑out and breakdown rota when required
  • Use diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any required rectifications
  • Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Qualifications

  • C&G or NVQ3 HGV Technician qualification
  • Electrical and mechanical skills and experience
  • Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
  • Clean driving licence – HGV would be an advantage
