Salary: £32,000

Location: Rugby (relocating to Coventry in June 2027)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week

Please note: GTO, Logistics Services, Volvo Group Logistics will be relocating from Rugby to Coventry. Ideally, candidates should be happy to commute to both sites during the transition period.

As our Quality Coordinator, you'll help maintain the quality of our warehouse operation. Working alongside the warehouse team, you'll investigate inventory issues, carry out quality checks and support continuous improvement across the Distribution Centre. Your work will help ensure our customers receive the right parts, first time.

What you will do:

  • You'll be responsible for maintaining quality standards across the Distribution Centre.
  • Working closely with colleagues, you'll investigate issues, improve processes and help keep our operation running smoothly.
  • You will coordinate stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Plan and complete daily, weekly, periodic and annual stocktakes in line with the site requirements.
  • Conduct investigations on stock discrepancies, damages, shortages and location errors, ensuring that the root cause is identified and corrected.
  • Maintain accurate records for stocktakes, audits, quality checks, non-conformances and investigations.
  • Support preparation for internal and external audits by providing evidence and insight when necessary.
  • Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the warehouse floor to improve stock control, warehouse accuracy, audit compliance and quality performance.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will work closely with the Service Centre team, warehouse operatives and Team Leaders on the warehouse floor, ensuring quality and stock control.

Who are you?

  • You're organised, detail-focused and enjoy solving problems.
  • You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently with others and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, distribution or inventory control environment.
  • Experience conducting continuous improvement activities, applying Lean, Kaizen and VPS methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
  • You are an organised individual with a strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Proven experience working with stocktakes, cycle counts and stock investigations.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications with proven experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Reach Truck and HLOP licences would be advantageous but are not essential.
