As an HGV Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers on the road by:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Volvo trucks
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Completing inspections, MOT preparation and preventative maintenance
- Ensuring all work meets Volvo quality and safety standards
- Following safe working practices and PPE requirements
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainee technicians
HGV Licence - Volvo Bronze Certification (minimum standard)
- Silver and Gold Technician Accreditation
- Electrical Systems Training Levels 1 & 2
- Advanced Oscilloscope Diagnostics
- E-Mobility & Electric Vehicle Training
- Ongoing Technical & Manufacturer Development Programmes
- Whether you're an experienced technician or looking to build on your existing skills, we’ll help you become the very best in the industry.,
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience working on HGVs, trucks, buses or commercial vehicles
- OR
- Completed an HGV apprenticeship and looking to continue building your career

We also value transferable expertise from allied industries; candidates with backgrounds as a PSV Technician, PCV Mechanic, Bus and Coach Technician, or a Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Technician are strongly encouraged to apply, as full product training on our modern fleet will be provided.
