Salary: Up to £45,000 + company bonus + company van

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:15 (flexibility required)

We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Glasgow West depot, playing a key role in managing workshop operations, performance, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and oversee the workshop team
  • Ensure service and repair work is completed on time and to quality standards
  • Manage productivity, job profitability, and KPI performance
  • Lead daily production meetings and plan workloads/resources
  • Proactively manage processes from planning through to invoice/claim closure
  • Support the Dealerpoint Manager with operational reviews and planning

About You:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Previous supervisory experience in a commercial vehicle workshop
  • Strong knowledge of VOSA requirements, MOT standards, workshop KPIs, and Operator Licence regulations
  • Confident leader with strong communication and IT skills
