We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Glasgow West depot, playing a key role in managing workshop operations, performance, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and oversee the workshop team
- Ensure service and repair work is completed on time and to quality standards
- Manage productivity, job profitability, and KPI performance
- Lead daily production meetings and plan workloads/resources
- Proactively manage processes from planning through to invoice/claim closure
- Support the Dealerpoint Manager with operational reviews and planning
About You:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Previous supervisory experience in a commercial vehicle workshop
- Strong knowledge of VOSA requirements, MOT standards, workshop KPIs, and Operator Licence regulations
- Confident leader with strong communication and IT skills
