Salary: £18-£20 per hour + OVERTIME + BONUS + PLUS £1000 SIGNING ON BONUS (£500 after 6 months + £500 after completion of 1 year service)

You will have:
- A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGVs or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry
What you will do:
- Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers' trucks.
- Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.
