About this opportunity…
As a skilled technician, you will become part of a team of experts supporting one of our well-known retailers. Full manufacturer training is provided, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive regular training at Volvo’s training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology.
- Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)
- Completing job cards and electronic write ups on franchise platforms
- Completion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC’s)
- Support Apprentice Technicians as required
What you’ll bring…
- Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (required, but level 2 will be considered)
- A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
- Full UK Driving licence
- Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
- MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered
- An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
