MOT Tester – Glasgow Volvo

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–4:30pm, alternate Saturdays

Salary: £29k basic, OTE up to £35k + uncapped bonus

Bonus: Additional £2k for EV Qualification

We’re expanding our team at Lookers Glasgow Volvo and looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join our workshop. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out MOTs, vehicle health checks, servicing, and authorised repairs using the latest technology.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified MOT Tester
• Previous mechanical experience
• Self-motivated and keen to learn
• Dealer or independent garage background welcome

Key responsibilities:

• MOT testing in line with regulations
• Vehicle servicing and health checks
• Authorised repair work
• Road testing vehicles post-repair
• Accurate, high-quality documentation
