We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician (Service Technician/ MOT Tester) to join one of our Retailers based in Grantham. Our retailers offer a safe and friendly environment featuring state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workshop technology.
You will be part of a fantastic team working with a brand dedicated to making life easier, better, and safer for everyone. As part of your employment, you’ll also receive comprehensive training, flexible working options, benefits, and a bonus scheme.
Working hours: Monday – Friday – 45 hours 8am – 5pm, fluctuates 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am-1pm. Salary: 15 + OTE/ Bonus.
Full manufacturer training is provided, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive ongoing training at Volvo’s training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology.
- Servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand.
- Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters.
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (or transferable skills within a similar role) with technical expertise to work at pace is essential. A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.
