Overview
This 12‑month E‑commerce Assistant programme, starting from Summer 2026, is part of the E‑commerce 2026 Team. You will support subject‑matter experts by driving key strategic decisions that shape the future of Volvo Car UK, ensure a seamless customer shopping experience, and enhance digital initiatives.
Responsibilities
- You report to the Senior E‑commerce Manager and coordinate all aspects of e‑commerce initiatives.
- Your day‑to‑day tasks include managing website maintenance, supporting promotions and campaigns, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Conduct daily site checks to ensure correct pricing and promotions and functioning customer journeys.
- Assist in updating and maintaining content, images and copy.
- Support the setup of promotions, campaigns, and product launches.
- Support QA checks across new pages and features to ensure functionality and correct rendering.
- Help track and report on website performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback, contributing ideas for improving UX and conversion based on analytics insights.
- Conduct competitor and market research to support decision‑making.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and e‑commerce teams.
- Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and optimised for search visibility, raising ticket if necessary.
- Collate, track and analyse website performance metrics, highlighting trends, customer behaviours and linking to sales outcomes.
Qualifications
