We are excited to be recruiting for a Vehicle Technician. Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus.
We have opportunities for experienced Vehicle Technicians to join one of Volvo’s retailers based in Knaresborough. Our retailers offer a safe and friendly environment featuring state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workshop technology.

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician includes:
- Utilising your expanding knowledge of our manufacturer’s vehicles and features to service, repair and diagnose our customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard within our state of the art workshop.
- Working as part of a capable and motivated team, completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Completing relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports, in accordance with manufacturer, warranty and dealer requirements.
- Checking the level and quality of work that has been carried out using diagnostic equipment and road testing upon completion of jobs.
We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role. As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your technical ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. An MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential. You must hold a full UK driving license.
