What you’ll do: During your placement, you will provide support to subject matter experts within the team as they make key strategic decisions that will shape the future of Volvo Car UK. You’ll contribute significantly to the success and future of the brand by delivering fresh ideas and viewpoints and challenging current assumptions to meet the needs of future customers – so an innovative mindset is essential. We are currently recruiting for an organised, ambitious and driven 12‑month placement student within our fast‑paced Marketing team, to join us from July 2026, as a Marketing (events, advocacy & partnerships) Placement Student.
You will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative, process management, and project support. This role is vital for the smooth running of certain areas within the Marketing function, and you will be involved with the coordination and implementation of processes and projects within the function.
You will gain valuable skills and experience in all aspects of Marketing Operations and Project Management including:
- Supporting the administration of various talent contracts / internal signature process
- Talent liaison and VIP support/management
- Venue research
- Employee / staff event admin
- Investor conference support
- Team planning and reporting / diary management / agency liaison
- Supporting with fleet administration i.e. advocacy speeding/parking fines, accident paperwork, car movement logistics, mileage updates etc
- Supporting live events

You will be currently studying towards a sandwich degree in Marketing, Business Management, Operations Management or a related subject, you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
