What youâll do:
- Reporting into the Senior Revenue Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for activities relating to the Campaign and Volume Planning of Volvo Car UK vehicles within the UK for the Volvo brand.
- You will be responsible for developing the national Retail Campaigns to deliver on VCUK business plan in terms of new car volume and bottomâline profitability.
- As well as campaign planning, you will be responsible for all Retail Order, Delivery and production planning whilst ensuring stock mix reflects true customer demands.
- The role involves working closely with all areas of the business including Commercial, Order to Delivery, Distribution and Finance.

The deliverables the role will need to achieve are:
- Manage the shortâand longâterm volume planning process, considering model and channel mix.
- Lead the VCUK volume planning process with key deliverables each month being the submission of the revised sales forecast to the Gothenburg head office.
- Collaborate with the channel owners to ensure we are working to an optimal channel plan and to keep all channels accountable to their targets.
- Work closely with the Stock Order CoâOrdinator to optimise the production plan mix and seasonality.
- Support distribution team with forecasting arrivals and port storage capacity in line with the latest production plan.
- Ensure retail programs are effective to deliver on company sales and profit objectives. Measured Monthly/Quarterly/Annually.
- Manage relationship with VCFS in regards to all offer design and deployment.
- Track and monitor profitability and elasticity of offers using the Acquisition and Retention tool.
- Work closely with VCC and local Ops teams to identify root causes of pricing discrepancies and to fix any underlying issues.
- Maintain relationship with thirdâparty wallbox supplier and PO and invoice payment management.
- Measure all Retail offers against competition to ensure that VCUK offers are at the correct level to generate required sales volumes.
- Knowledge of all elements of transformation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong IT skills particularly MS Office, Power BI and other order management software applications.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and to perform well under pressure.
- An enthusiastic and agile approach to work.
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing environments and goal posts.
- Develops and maintains good relationships with shareholders, stakeholders, retailers and relevant industry bodies and regulatory bodies.
- Confident with presenting information to key stakeholders and to a variety of people.
