About The Role

Volvo is seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile HGV/PSV Technician to join our Service Market Team. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines technical expertise, customer support and nationwide travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre delivery inspections (PDIs) in accordance with Volvo standards.
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain HGV & PSV vehicles.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to Volvo dealerships and service partners.
  • Conduct technical investigations and support field based rectification activities.
  • Prepare and inspect used vehicles to ensure they meet Volvo quality standards.
  • Install additional vehicle equipment, including CCTV systems, USB charging points and vehicle monitors.

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience within the HGV or PSV industry.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A full UK driving licence (PSV licence desirable but not essential).
