Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER Farnborough Airport We are seeking a proactive, dedicated and detail oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team, based at the private terminal of Farnborough Airport. This role will report directly in to the Finance Director. A successful candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and support for our financial operations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. If you enjoy a challenge, working in a fast paced changing environment, with a great group of people, where you can make a real difference, this could be the role for you The duties of this role will include : Manage the end to end transaction processing function and team Lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards Support the year end statutory audit Supervise a team of finance professionals Oversee core finance processes, such as accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and support the month-end close and production of management accounts Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany We’re looking for: Ideally qualified (or working towards) a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CIMA Previously working experience in people management Excellent attention to detail Proficiency with accounts payable processes and systems Pro-active with good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts at all levels Strong knowledge of financial accounting practices Hands on attitude Why VOLUXIS?
