Job Description

Title: Product Manager – RMI (Refurbish, Maintain, Improve) Ventilation Products

Reporting to: UK Product & Marketing Director

Location: Crawley (Hybrid)

Package: Salary dependent on experience, up to 20% annual bonus, 25 days annual leave and bank holidays, Company Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Boostworks discount platform.

Job profile:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Product Manager (RMI) to oversee our portfolio of physical ventilation products/ goods across well-known brands such as Vent-Axia, Manrose, National Ventilation, and Airtech.

You’ll be the key figure in managing the entire product lifecycle, from current product management to future product roadmaps and in-development projects.

This is a high-impact role with exposure to cross-functional teams, market insights, and continuous opportunities to optimise the business’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Roadmap Creation: Gather market insights, customer feedback, and sales team recommendations to develop a prioritised product roadmap that drives brand positioning and maximises revenue and profit growth.
  • Cross-functional Product Development: Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, and engineering to develop products from initial concepts to in-stock product launches.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Launch Plans: Work with marketing teams to create compelling GTM launch plans and assets that ensure product success in the market.
  • Customer & Business Focus: Act as a customer advocate, always balancing the needs of both the customer and business objectives in decision-making.
  • RMI Expenditure & Budget Management: Own the RMI (Refurbish, Maintain, Improve) budget and manage project business cases to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Sales & Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and supply chain teams to forecast product demand, ensuring the right stocking levels are maintained.
  • Positioning & Pricing Strategy: Develop and maintain clear product positioning and pricing strategies that align with market demand and brand goals.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Stay current on regulatory and legislative changes within the ventilation industry to ensure compliance and identify new opportunities for the business.

Key Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Product Management Experience: Previous experience as a Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager, specifically in managing product lifecycles, pricing strategies, and market launches.
  • Commercial Business Experience: Proven experience in a commercial environment (product management, sales, or marketing), with the ability to drive product success.
  • Drive for Success: A proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Financial & Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, cost analysis, and the commercial drivers behind successful product management.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term goals, making decisions that drive both immediate results and sustainable growth.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to process large data sets, draw meaningful insights, and apply them to product decisions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential for data management, reporting, and presentations.
  • Flexibility: Occasional attendance required to Sales Meeting events (evenings), Award ceremonies, and infrequent travel abroad.
