These are key technical leadership roles responsible for driving engineering excellence and product optimization across our product portfolio. You will play a central role in ensuring our products and associated processes meet the highest engineering standards while delivering cost efficiency and exceptional customer satisfaction. As the primary technical authority for product-related issues, you will apply structured problem-solving methodologies to maintain product integrity and operational reliability. Beyond issue resolution, you will lead engineering-led continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities through data-driven analysis and implementing robust technical solutions that deliver measurable performance and cost benefits. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on engineering execution and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on product quality, performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and resolve product-related issues using internal tracking systems to prioritize actions, monitor progress, and coordinate cross-functional resources and key stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across existing products and processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce product costs, service costs, and overall cost of quality.
  • Direct, coordinate, and deliver VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) and NPD (New Product Development) activities, ensuring full alignment with company processes, strategic objectives, and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, meeting applicable technical standards while remaining aligned with organizational goals and performance targets.
  • Contribute to product design specifications and actively support NPD project teams throughout the full development lifecycle to achieve business objectives on schedule and within budget.
  • In collaboration with the Compliance Team, identify current and emerging regulatory requirements for assigned product ranges and work with local teams to ensure ongoing compliance across performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Review, approve, and support compliance documentation as part of ECO, Technical File, and Declaration of Conformity processes.
  • Manage and support existing and new Intellectual Property (IP) initiatives, including patents and design rights.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance, project, and progress reports as required.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in one or more of the following environments:
  • Product design and manufacturing of domestic and/or commercial appliances, including components such as AC or DC/EC motors, SMPS, and electronic control systems.
  • Product compliance or regulatory-focused engineering environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant industry experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of CE marking requirements, including LVD and EMC directives and associated safety standards.
  • Proven ability to apply engineering and quality tools to perform risk assessments, define test requirements, and conduct fault and root cause analysis to support preventative and corrective actions across processes, components, and products.
  • High level of proficiency of Excel, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review performance, quality, and compliance data to support informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to estimate resource requirements, manage project workloads, and track budgets to ensure delivery against agreed targets.
