As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing Walk & Talk group in your local area. In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all parents.

What’s involved?

  • Planning and leading a Walk & Talk to support parents in your local community.
  • Advertising the Walk & Talk to ensure participation.

As a volunteer health cycle leader, you'll be helping people in your community to get active by leading groups on a cycle ride. As part of this role, you will be required to plan routes, support cyclists and enjoy cycling yourself. A health cycle leader's main responsibilities will include:

  • Making sure everyone is safe and happy during a ride.
  • Checking a route and familiarising yourself with it.

As a volunteer walk leader, you'll be helping people in your community to get active. As part of this role, you would be required to plan routes, support walkers and to love walking in all weathers. The roles and responsibilities of a walk leader include:

  • Making sure everyone is safe and happy during a walk.
  • Checking a route and familiarising yourself with it before leading.

We are looking for qualified Coaches, part qualified coaching Assistants and session helpers with or without experience. Volunteers will be DBS checked.
