Help Give Mobiles a Second Life! We’re on the hunt for a tech enthusiast who wants to make a real impact — for people and the planet. As part of our volunteer team, you’ll be diving into the world of mobile repair and refurbishment. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, team-minded, customer-focused, and gets why keeping tech out of landfill matters.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assess donated mobile devices from the public and businesses.
- Remove accounts, factory reset, and breathe new life into devices.
- Diagnose faults, update software, and do minor repairs.
- Clean and prep devices for resale.
- Help set smart prices for our community-friendly customers.
Requirements:
- Technically competent and confident with mobile devices.
- A team player who enjoys working with fellow volunteers.
- Reliable and able to follow through on tasks.
- Customer-focused with good communication skills.
- Environmentally conscious and passionate about reducing e-waste by extending the life of tech.
