Key Duties Responsibilities
- Engage directly with people 16+ to understand their wants, needs and aspirations.
- Support on a 1:1 basis, in person or digitally with the volunteer to create an action plan.
- Work in partnership with the All-in-Aberdeenshire consortium to achieve outcomes.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with referral partners.
- Liaise with referral sources regarding new and existing referrals.
- Identify, create and develop relationships with new charity partners or agencies.
- Manage the risk assessment, quality assurance, and audit processes.
- Ensure monitoring, impact and evaluation of information and data is collected.
- Assist the Delivery Leader by preparing reports to funders.
- Promote and represent Volunteering Matters across Aberdeenshire.
Skills
- A sound understanding of the challenges faced by people in Aberdeenshire.
- Understanding of how to assess the needs of an individual using a person-centered approach.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience of project management and working to deadlines.
Experience Required
- Significant experience working directly with people facing challenges.
- Demonstrable relationship management experience.
- Experience in using a CRM system.
- Experience of project management, achieving high targets.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
