Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Family Mentor located on-site in Southend-On-Sea. As a Family Mentor, you will be responsible for supporting families in overcoming various challenges by providing guidance, sharing resources, and offering emotional support. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with families, identifying their needs, and helping them navigate available services and support systems. You will work closely with community partners and other volunteers to create a supportive network for families.
Location:
Southend-on-Sea, Essex (and the surrounding 3-mile radius)
Commitment:
Part-time, flexible – around 1–2 hours per week
Expenses:
Travel and out-of-pocket costs reimbursed
Training:
Full training and ongoing support provided
