About Ferrymead Heritage Park
Ferrymead Heritage Park is a living museum in New Zealand with more than 60 years of history. It is managed by the charitable Trust, supported by Ferrymead Park Ltd, the company that operates the park daily.
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors for Ferrymead Park Ltd, to help guide the park into its next chapter.
What we need from you
- Governance: Experience in not-for-profit or commercial governance, strategic planning, and risk management.
- Marketing: Skills in brand development, digital marketing, community engagement, or fundraising.
- Accounting: Financial oversight, budgeting and reporting experience, preferably with charitable or not-for-profit organisations.
- Business Development: Skills in development, business growth, funding applications or relationship and partnership building.
- Te Ao Māori: Appreciation for Te Ao Māori and experience in cultural and heritage leadership.
- Values: Commitment to the values of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga and tikanga.
Ideal candidates will:
